I had a picture for Jimmy last year so I figured this year I'd do Becca's pic. It was nice to get a personal phone call from the coordinator at the March of Dimes to let me know that they will be having a balloon release this year. I'm looking forward to that...a lot of angel parents have released balloons but I've not yet done one for either of my babies.
I have two friends who have joined my team this year, but I don't think either one of them is actually going to be able to make it.
My husband and my son are going with all the men in the family that day to a Braves game in Atlanta (I helped plan it and it was the only day that worked for everyone) so I won't have any family with me either.
But that's ok, because it's not about me, right?
I really felt good when i released some balloons for Stella. Maybe give it a try? Ill surely add Becca and jimmy on my lantern release i will be doing for stella's 1 year in October, hope the weather is sufficient for it. Been thinking about you a ton! I wish i was close enough to walk with you! I surely would! I am debating starting a walk here near my house, we have an EXCELLENT bike trail and park just at the end of the street i live on. I contacted March of Dimes and they were wonderful and sent me a ton of info on bereavement and joining walks. The one nearest my house is a weekend i will be out of town for my bros wedding. So starting one myself may be the best bet. Hope your having some days of peace, or at least moments! ((HUGE HUGS))
